DBA: Marketing  - Qualitative Research

Through GCU’s qualitative DBA with an Emphasis in Marketing online or evening program, students will learn to employ qualitative methodology to design, as well as collect and analyze information in alignment with conducting a scholarly dissertation. Students will do this by creating a sampling plan, designing and field testing research tools, collecting data and conducting a deep analysis of the data using a systematic approach.

In this program, students will conceptualize enterprise data analytics, apply analytic techniques and software to interpret data, evaluate methods of data and analytic modeling and apply analytics to support data-driven business decision making. By the end of this program students will be able to employ qualitative methodology to design, collect and analyze information in alignment with conducting a scholarly dissertation.

In this program, students will apply theoretical foundations to address complex interconnected management issues, propose organizational structures to achieve optimal organizational performance, create change in management strategies, analyze the implications of law in business management and analyze complexities of management. Throughout this program, students will use qualitative methodology to design, collect and analyze information in alignment with conducting a scholarly dissertation.

GCU’s quantitative DBA with an Emphasis in Data Analytics focuses on interpreting numeric data by using statistical tools to clean data, assess reliability and analyze data. This program differs from our qualitative DBA with an Emphasis in Data Analytics, which focuses on examining events to better understand an observed phenomenon. Students enrolled in both of these programs must draft a written dissertation to showcase their findings.
